InnJoo Launches New Fingerprint Smartphone In Lagos
InnJoo, a smartphone producing company, has stepped up its game in the world of phone manufacturing with a new fingerprints technology for phones.
The new technology which is
peculiar to the new InnJoo 2, is the latest module of fingerprint detector and
recognition algorithm and was launched into the Nigerian market on Friday,
November 20, 2015 at the Protea Hotel, Ikeja Lagos.
In his address during the launch
of the phone alongside two others; Max 2 and Max 2 Plus, Robert Lians, Managing
Director,
InnJoo Nigeria, informed that the technology with which the products
were manufactured match the standard which other high-tech phones possess.
According to him: “We have
developed this new technology with the aim of meeting with the Nigerian MARKET,
the battery lasts for about 72hours, and the 3,200mAh battery was developed
with a fast charge technology.
“This is not the first time we
are launching our products in the country, but it is the first time we are
bringing up three products at a time. the Max 2 and Max 2 Plus are also premium
products which the users of internet will find pretty good.
“The beauty of the InnJoo 2 is
the fingerprint technology. I can assure you that it has a 0.46seconds fingerprint
sensor unlock, which is faster than what is obtainable on the i-phone as well
other phones in that category.
The Max 2 Gold phone recently
launched in Lagos.
“The camera also has a high
resolution and interestingly, you do not need to click on a button at the front
before you take a picture. Just click on the sensor at the back and discover
that taking selfies have become even better.”
On the prices of the newly-introduced
products, Lians informed that its sole retailer is e-commerce outfit, Jumia,
but pointed out however, that, “even though we have only Jumia as our sole
retail outlet, there is hardly any shop you step into in the Computer Village,
where you will not find our products.
“They are cheap and I want to
assure Nigerians that the prices will also fall during the much-anticipated
‘Black Friday’ market promo sales.”
Lians hailed the internet usage
in Nigeria as he also expressed belief that the number of internet users in the
country will keep rising as the company also unveiled its first ever television
product.
The television, InnTV 4 is a
device which is upgradable and works like an android. It also has a quad-core
CPU, dual subwoofers, 3D stereo sound as well as a Wi-Gi display.
The new technology, according to
the managing director, is one of the latest discoveries of the company, as they
hope to advance with their technology to bring comfort to their teeming users
worldwide.
The highlight of the event was
the presentation of phones to raffle draw winners after the presentation of the
phones to the audience.
The newly-launched phones were
given out to people whose names were picked through a raffle draw.
